Getting started

Create your organisation, connect Recurly and your AI, review your refund rules, and invite your team. About fifteen minutes.

You can do all of this yourself, in about fifteen minutes. The portal keeps a checklist under Admin, Get started, and ticks each step off when it is really done.

1. Sign in

Go to the portal and sign in, with Google or with a link sent to your email address. If you are not part of an organisation yet, you are asked for your business's name, and you become its Owner. New organisations start on the free plan.

If you were expecting to join your team's existing organisation, choose Not now and ask its owner or an admin to invite you. Then sign in with the address they invited.

2. Connect a Recurly site

Under Admin, Connections, add your Recurly site with an API key. A read-only key is enough to ask questions. To let your team cancel and refund from Retrixus, use a key that allows changes. Add each brand's site the same way.

3. Connect Claude or ChatGPT

Under Admin, Connect AI, follow the steps for your assistant. Then ask it something about your customers. See Your first five prompts for ideas.

4. Review your refund and cancel rules

Under Admin, Refund rules. They decide who can cancel and refund, how much, and when a manager has to approve. You start on cautious rules; change them to match how your business works.

5. Invite your team

Under Admin, Team, invite each person with the role they need. See Roles and refund rules.
